Henry has the ability to display a wide range of raster and vector charts. Switching between charts is quick and charts in different formats can be displayed simultaneously.
Multiple Chart Formats
At present, Henry displays all of the following formats (we are always happy to discuss specific requests for additional capabilities):
- ARCS display and updating
- S57 vector chart display and updating
- NOAA (BSB/Maptech) raster chart display
- New Zealand Mariner raster charts
- DNC, NTF, ShapeFile, CRP, ASRP, GRP and Geotiff chart display
- World Vector Shoreline
- ENC overlays on ARCS charts
Multiple Data Sources
Commercial ENC data is available from several sources each of which use slightly different interpretations of the S-57 ENC standard. Henry is compatible with all commonly available chart sources including IC-ENC, Primar, ChartWorld and NOAA. It has also been used with ENC data from Japan, Canada, Singapore, Argentina and others.
Charts can also be imported from raw image data using one of several techniques to geo-reference the image. Sources include satellite and aerial images as well as scanned data.
