United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO)
The UKHO is a world leader in the production of hydrographic charts and publications supplying over 60% of worldwide commercial shipping requirements.
CherSoft are working closely with the UKHO on the development of bespoke software to produce digital publications for use in Marine Navigation. TotalTide and the Digital List of Lights were the first two digital products developed by CherSoft for the UKHO.
Service Hydrographique et Océangraphique de la Marine
SHOM’s purpose is to France’s international marine obligations, particularly SOLAS requirements, to satisfy France’s marine defence requirements both on and under the surface and to provide France with expertise and policy support for disaster monitoring, sustainable development and environmental protection both at sea and in the coastal zones.
SHOM use the CherSoft Tidal Database (TdB) to collect, monitor, edit and publish the information from thousands of tidal stations worldwide.
NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organisation)

The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) is an alliance of 28 countries from North America and Europe which safeguards the values of democracy, individual liberty, the rule of law and the peaceful resolution of disputes, and promotes these values throughout the Euro-Atlantic area.
NATO use the Henry navigation system for various tactical and information purposes. Customised versions of Henry also find use in a command and control role during certain marine exercises.
Ultra Electronics
Ultra Electronics SML Technologies (UESML) is at the forefront of high-technology development, design, manufacture and installation of affordable radar processing, tracking and display systems for offshore platform protection, Coastal Surveillance and Port Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) for civil and defence customers worldwide.
CherSoft work with UESML on a wide variety of projects. The Henry navigation system is the basis of several applications (including Safe Navigator) and CherSoft core technologies are used in many of their products.
AtoBviaC
AtoBviaC is a well resourced and dedicated company run by the people who developed the software and produced the last update to the Distance Tables for BP Shipping in 1991.
CherSoft are providing the technology used by AtoBviaC in a project that involves BP and Worldscale to produce a new generation of the BP Shipping Distance Tables.
Mediterranean Shipping Company
Mediterranean Shipping Company is the 2nd largest container shipping company in the world and operates in excess of 240 container vessels.
CherSoft supply the Henry navigation system to the Mediterranean Shipping Company.
Hydrographic Service of the Royal Netherlands Navy
The Hydrographic Service of the Royal Netherlands Navy is responsible for conducting hydrographic surveys and publishing charts and other nautical information covering the Dutch Continental Shelf and adjacent waters together with the waters surrounding the Netherlands' Antilles and Aruba.
CherSoft have developed a variant of the TotalTide tidal prediction software tailored to the Dutch market.
British Chamber of Shipping
The Chamber aims to provide members with comprehensive and up-to-date information, to formulate industry policy to promote and protect the interests of British shipping and to launch, co-ordinate and pursue initiatives to achieve policy objectives.
