Recruitment Agency Policy
We would rather pay people than agencies!
Our experience is that most agencies are concerned only with their potential fee, and have no concern for the candidate or our company. They claim ludicrous fees, for little or no added value and often send unsuitable CVs. This is particularly true of the larger concerns. We do of course recognise that some agents are conscientious, skilled and have a reasonable expectation of fee level. Unfortunately they make up a small minority.
If you are a candidate...
- Think twice before letting an agent submit your CV.
- Any money we pay to the agent is a reduction in the money available to pay you!
- If we have to choose between two candidates, and all other things being equal, we will choose the direct candidate every time.
If you are an agent...
Terms and Conditions for Agencies wishing to submit a candidate for employment by CherSoft Ltd:
- Receipt by CherSoft Ltd from an Agency of any candidate details will be taken as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- A fee will only become payable to the Agency if a candidate submitted by them is successful and commences employment with CherSoft Ltd in the vacancy applied for within 6 months of the first introduction of the candidate to CherSoft Ltd by the Agency. The fee to the Agency will be 2% of the candidates starting salary.
- A rebate will be payable to CherSoft Ltd by the Agency if the candidates employment with CherSoft terminates for whatever reason within the first 3 months of employment.
- The rebate due is 75% of the fee where employment lasts less than 1 month, 50% between 1 month and less than 2 months, and 30% between 2 months and less than 3 months.
- No fee will be payable by CherSoft if an unsuccessful candidate submitted by an agent applies directly for a subsequent vacancy and is recruited.
- No other terms or conditions will apply.
