Steve McQueenie
Steve joined the Army straight from school in 1987 intending to stay for 3 years before getting a proper job. Following senior leadership positions and deployments of up to 600 personnel in the UK and Overseas (NI, Iraq, Bosnia, South Africa, Middle East) he left the infantry after 20 years.
He has specialised in business development (new sales) and military consultancy; working for the UK Met Office, EDS and HP. He was part of the team that delivered the United Kingdom Office Hydrographic data base (2009) and is the director of a renewable energy company advising global wind farm companies. He is looking to grow CherSoft’s business into global markets and teaming with new and non-traditional partners to exploit new business.
He lives in Devon with his young family.
